Deepak Chopra is an Indian born American author, public speaker, doctor, alternative medicine healer and Ayurveda advocate. He is best known for the best-selling 1994 book "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" and multiple other best sellers.

His criticism of the traditional drug-pushing, body-chopping medical industrial complex has naturally created an army of wildly vocal and persistent critics.

Deepak Chopra was born on the 22nd of October, 1946 in New Delhi, British India.
